They always run, Industria, Mana Spark, Shieldmaiden [Lazy reviews]

This lazy review is meant give some attention to so unknown (indie) video games. All said is my personal opinion and meant to give you a quick and dirty insight to the games shown.


1. They always run, a great story driven 2d platformer (7/10)
pro:
– beautiful and professional art
– unique combat style
– cool story to follow
– useful upgrade system
– very forgiving platforming with checkpoints

neg:
– combat suffers from animation locking

2. Industria, Half life inspired fps (“8+ of 10”)

pro:
– unique graphics and setting
– very dense story telling
– unqiue spin with an alternative DDR steam punk world (Ausgezeichnet!!)

neg:
– only standard combat
– did crash a few times for me
– can have performance issues

3. Mana Spark, though rouge lite (6/10)

pro:
– tons of upgrades and classes
– precise and punishing gameplay (me gusta)
– hard combat

neg:
– tons of repetion
– always the same level layout
– very pixely pixel art

3. Shieldmaiden (6/10)

pro:
– great looking pixel art
– challenging bosses
– neat story to follow
– fluid and fair gameplay

neg:
– very sparse levels
– no replayabality
– no secret/additional content
