This is the 5th video in a series on remaking Vampire Survivors in GameMaker.

The video tutorial shows you how to do create an easy weapon system. The idea is simple, you have alarms that run down and once an alarm is triggered you spawn the correct weapon. These weapons are in one of the 16 user events, so that in the future we can have slots that enables and triggers the weapon slotted (upcoming in the future). The two basic weapons are a melee slash that follows the player and hammer that flies in an arch/parabol. That’s it!
