The idea is quite simple. To make the game feel more polished you can use particles to enhance it overall by spawning particles like a trail after the projectile/bullet/magic spell. You simply need to setup a particle and spawn it. This video shows you how to make this happen by looping the alarm event and there you spawn your particles. Note that by changing dynamically the particle sprite and angle, it can override other particles and therefore you see affect that you wouldn’t like it see.
