MindSeize is a classic metroidvania action platformer with a beautiful pixel art and a decend combat system made in Unity by developer Kamina Dimension (release september 2020).
This game does tick off all boxes when it comes to the metroidvania genre. Exploration, upgrade systems, bossfights and hidden paths with unlockables. The music and sound are spot on.
So is this game for you? It depends, the game is solid but don’t expect it to be the best of its genre. I personally played it to the end and was quite satisfied finding all the upgrades and progressing through the game. It didn’t blew my mind nor did it disappoint me. But I love the genre and am in that regard a bit biased.
Tldr:
6/7 out of 10, not a magnificent game, but decend experience
