This visual effects tutorial shows you how to make a comic book style card/loot box image for a high resolution video game.

This video is split into 2 parts. One where you basically put together the parts of this card/loot box in GameMaker Studio and one which rushes through the elements in phototshop. The idea behind this is not to go through evey detail but give you an insight how you can take inspiration from an already existing video game and adapt part of its style in your own game. So if you see something worth emulating, this is a method how to do it.
