Caveblazers is a rouge lite pixel art sidescoller made in gamemaker. This was made by Rupeck game and Deadpan games. It is in my opinion of the those underrated gems that you can find on the internet. The gameplay loop is quite simple, go dungeon crawl, pick up some random loot and make your character stronger on the way. There are tons of weapons, passive perks, start classes and items to unlock as well as only cosmetics to customize the player.
The remarkable thing about caveblazer is the segmented player that allows to make lots of combinations how you actually want to looks like. The parts are legs, body, head and additionally headgear. The other things which besides having a solid gameplay loop is the ai of your enemies and the occasional other player which is only a bot. It is so good that it will keep you on your toes and make runs challenging and enjoyable.
